Donning high-end branded suits with an average height of 180cm, these beautiful beasts are just like art itself as they stand in line. These men - Jun. K, Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Chansung, Junho, Taecyeon, who shook the Korean music scene with their dynamic and energetic performances earns the nickname of, “Beast Idols”. It has been two years since the No.1 Asia dance & vocal group which comprises of rich-personality individuals debuted in Japan. They mobilized 150,000 people in the national tour in the start of 2013 and came back with their second album, to show their charm.
“When we first debuted in Japan, there was still a trace of youth. However, now, we are like matured beasts (laughs). We are always striving to give our best during live performances, this may the reason why our potential has grown and matured.” - Taecyeon
“A healthy man’s energy and sincerity, although it has only been two years in Japan, I felt that we have let everyone see a lot of our different sides.” - Junho

The difference between the hot and beastly image when performing on stage and when we are off stage is also 2PM’s charm. This statement is strongly agreed upon by the 6 of them. This is the friendship of 2PM.
“I used to think that after being in a group and doing activities together for many years, we will slowly grow apart from each other. However, this was not the case. This is also something that we are proud of. Everyone’s attitude and personality is very good, we are really very close.” - Jun.K
“Disregarding our age gaps and seniority, we talk and discuss matters, this is very similar to the American style. Due to how we would always discuss and solve problems when they arise, we never ever had a big fight before.” - Nichkhun
Recently, there are also many girl groups who are very close with each other. This meant that 2PM is not just putting up a show, their adorable and dorky true self have attracted the attention of a lot of girls. Of course, the fact that the promotional activities by the various members have also captured a lot of fans’ hearts.
Besides having a powerful vocal in the group, Jun. K as a solo artist, promotional events and music also received very high ratings.
“As a solo artist, how do I develop from now on? (laughs). No matter what, I will continue to do my best and compose even greater music. I used to want to compose that kind of song whereby when one hears, it will immediately touches the soul. However, now I want to compose the kind of song whereby when one hears it, you may not quite understand the beginning but it will slowly settle into you.” - Jun. K
Of course, these idols that has charm will not overlook the movie and television scene. Besides their activities in Korea, Taecyeon has also taken part in a Japanese drama, Nichkhun has also acted in a Japanese movie, and Chansung who is acting as a spy in MBC’s ‘Level 7 Civil Service’ has also became a hot topic.
“It will be good to strike a good balance between 2PM’s promotional events and my acting career. Sometimes when I go to the movies, I will always think: “Ah, someday I would like to play this role!”’ - Taecyeon
“I have too many personal goals. My language expression is not that good. However, I feel that being natural is very important too, I hope that through expanding and maximizing every member’s strength, we can become an icon in every area.” -Junho
“After taking acting class, I slowly realized that being in acting class is also studying about the stage style. In this way, I feel that the thing that I want to do most is still singing. I think that by being a good dance singer and being recognized and affirmed by it then only can I move on to the next goal.” - Wooyoung
“I want to continue to express myself. Aside from acting, I also want to attempt fashion design and writing. I want to use the experiences of such activities and my personal life experiences to express myself more extensively in stage performances.” - Chansung
“Personally, I want to continue acting. From now on, I also want to attempt songwriting and composing. However, for my situation, I will feel very worried on stage alone without my members. When I am alone, I don’t have confidence. Therefore, I always want us 6 to be on stage together (laughs).” - Nichkhun
Although the interest of every member’s solo may be different, the resulting product of every solo activity of the members allow 2PM to grow to new heights. This is the common point that all 6 members share. This is all done for 2PM and those who loves them. The 2PM who has such a fiery passion and collaboration, what is their goal as 2PM?
“Our goal is to become a group that is widely accepted and loved but this is very difficult. No matter how hard we try to prepare in advance, there are also times where we cannot deliver the message across. However, no matter what concept that we choose to adopt, we hope that the concept can become 2PM’s charm and be accepted. I hope that it will be like this.” - Taecyeon
“Yes, our goal is to be a better group. Everyone in the group always says they want to participate in the Tokyo Dome concert and the year end music festival (Red and white song battle).” - Nichkhun
Heading towards their next step to their Tokyo Dome concert tour goal, it is to be fulfilled in April with a 2-day performance at Tokyo Dome.
